Since its founding, IIHEM has welcomed students from abroad both as degree candidates and as semester abroad exchange students. With its decidedly international focus, incoming students have been able to integrate easily into the IIHEM community, participating fully in extra-curricular activities, and reaping the benefits of both the academic programs and the cultural immersion. Students enjoy the cosmopolitan "garden" nature of the capital city Rabat and the strategic location of Morocco that allows them to make short visits to nearby Spain and Portugal.
